Nerf guns are a shiny plastic so posterpaints or any paint you would have to apply with a brush may not be suitable, however spraypaint is an adequate option, its a great idea to use spraypaint, its: cheap, comes in a massive range of shades and colours, it can be bought in Matt, gloss, or even metallic, its relativly easy to buy manty car repair shops will suply it or home improvement shops such as B&Q or Home Depot if you live in America, it can also be purchased from craft shops, but the only drawback is preparation: because its a solvent you need a large space preferably outside with a suitable cover on the surface you are painting on such as cardboard, plastic bags or even a tarp or old clothes are a good idea too, i would also recommend wearing a face mask or respiritory device these could be purchased at home emprovement shops metioned earlyer. you should wear gloves and not smoke or be near a naked flame while using the spraypaint. there will be other safety precautions printed on the back of the spraypaint bottle depending on the size of your gun that you are willing to paint you i would recomend buying 1 can for small guns, and 2-3 cans on guns ranging from the recon to the vulcan or other weapons around that sizei would definatly not recomend spraypainting the innerworkings of the gun as this may block or cause the machanism to jam and then your gun is useless if you are using a lighter colour such as yellow or red or a near colour in the spectrum then to get the best result you should spray on an undercoat of white and then the coulour you are using this should be done because id you are using a gun like the longshot which is primarily dark blue then the colour you have chosen will not show up very well over blue if the coulour you are using is black or gey then you may even need just one coat because the coulour is so dense... but in my view i don't think you need to paint a Nerf gun the colouration on the guns is great alreaddy but if you are painting your weapon for a specific reason such as steath missions or battles then painting your weapon black is a good idea so you blend in with your desired background i.e if you are at night then black is a grat idea...
i hope this helps!

it depends on your gun some big guns are hard but what you do is you open up your gun and take out EVERYTHING in side and the chose your color and paint away if you have trouble getting all the pieces back in look at goggle
If you live in the US I recomend Krylon Fusion Spray paint. they cost about $6 per can at most Kmart and Sear's Hardware stores.
If you are in the UK and are looking for an alternative (since Krylon isn't avalable in the UK) try Humbrol hobby spray for polycarbonate and plastic body kits. I used this on my recon and works just as well, it may scratch off in places or the matt/gloss finish may wear out. if this happens either put more on or use a silver pen to create what looks like real scratches. Avoid putting more on (only use as a last resort situation) because it will get thicker and moving parts will become stiff
If you are good at it, yes! Be sure to sand it first and watch out for moving parts!
yes i can't see y because most games workshop figures are plastic so you should be able to, hope i helped.
joe
no way you can do what you want with it
yes you can. Hand paint or spray paint.
YES!!! u can paint Nerf guns but you have to get the right paint and it also has to be plastic paint. if you do paint a Nerf gun it could come come off onto your hands, it all depends on the quality of the paint
go buy one or paint it black
First of all I would not recommend painting a Nerf gun, I painted a $60 Nerf stampede and it doesn't work that well. However, if you are determined first get a krylon fusion for plastic can of spray paint, or multiple for more colors (krylon fusion is the most widely recommended paint for painting Nerf guns). Then take all the parts of your gun apart making sure to unscrew all the screws before attempting to take apart. Once apart sand it down so that the paint will stick then you simply pant your Nerf gun. If you wish to use more then one color spray paint the gun the the1st color then let it dry and then tape the parts off where you want that color to stay. Then you spray paint the remaining plastic (it's okay to get on the tape), then wait for it to dry then remove the tape and screw your gun back together.
Type your answer here... all nerf guns
it jams up
You can, but it won't look or work very good. don't do it. open the gun.
It resembles an assault riffle I guess. But if you mean what type of Nerf gun than it is a n-strike clip system. Hope this helps.
Yes, you can. But, I would suggest buying a plastic-safe spray paint. I would recommend Krylon Fusion or Rustoleum paint. You can find these at your local hardware store, Michael's, or Home Depot. But, before you paint them, make sure to cover the trigger, and other parts so they won't get paint on them(the trigger could get stuck). Also, cover up the orange nozzle because that's how the police know it's a fake/nerf gun.
That would be the Nerf Hydra sg-7.
Of course you can just keep the tip orange. The tip of the gun has to be orange because it is a federal law
real thommy gun no. Is a Nerf thommy Nerf gun a real thommy Nerf gun then yes
paint it silver than paint it what ever colors u want than sand it until u see the silver
