I'm not quite sure if this answers your question, but the Catholic ( & possibly other Christian religions) prayer To the Guardian Angel is this:
Angel sent by God to guide me,
be my light and walk beside me,
be my guardian and protect me,
in the paths of life direct me.
Amen
Again I'm not sue if that answers your question, but I got that prayer word-for-word from my prayer book. I go to a Catholic school, & we have a small paperback prayer book I got this from. Hope this answers your question~!!^^
The Angelus is a devotion in honor of the Incarnation, commemorating the archangel Gabriel's annunciation to the Blessed Virgin. It is prayed at 6 am, noon, and 6 pm. During the Easter Season it is replaced with the Regina Coeli (Queen of Heaven, rejoice):
The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary:
And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of
our death. Amen. Behold the handmaid of the Lord: Be it done unto me according to Thy word. Hail Mary . . . And the Word was made Flesh: And dwelt among us. Hail Mary . . .
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ Our Lord. Amen.
An Angelus is a Christian devotion in memory of the Incarnation, or the bell rung as a call to prayer during the Angelus service.
The Angelus
The prayer in honor of the Annunciation is the Hail Mary, which begins with the words "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.” This prayer celebrates the moment when the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she was chosen to be the mother of Jesus.
