ok on Mitsubishi's ONLY use NGK stock replacement's I literally just bought a set of better then oem plugs for my 97 eclipse gs-t and it ran like crap. When i got new stock replacement plugs it ran like it was brand new again! So ONLY NGK STOCK REPLACEMENT PLUGS!!! It should tell u the stock pluggs in your owners manuel!
The spark plugs are located on your head for the first three, when you open your hood and you find the metaling (head) that says 24 valve V6, there are 3 plug type things on there, those are the spark plugs, the last three, are under the plenum.

Depends on the type of spark plugs. Factory plugs around 70 - 100k depending on the condition of the plugs. I would replace the spark plugs out with some AC Delco iridium plugs they will last you 100k+.
