It is a special manual trans fluid for the NV 4500 transmission that is available at both Dodge and GM dealers.
You squirt it into the fill hole on the pass side of the trans case after removing the fill plug.
You will need a trans, wiring, computer, steering column, and trans cooler from an automatic truck
First, check fluid level.
Manual holds about 5 quarts Auto dry fill is about 16 quarts
The G 56 Transmission in a Dodge Ram uses ATF +4.
What about the overdrive needs reset? If it isn't working, then you need to have the computer checked for codes, you need to check trans fluid. etc...
Fluid for what? A WHAT 2500? General Motors? Dodge? We need to know these things in order to give an answer.
There are sensors inside the trans, outside the trans, and on the engine that will all affect shifting.
