The Ford Bronco transmission can use any SAE certified transmission fluid. Ford transmissions manufactured before 1979 will need an F type transmission fluid.

I'd suggest using a Dextron III/Mercon automatic transmission fluid.

It doesn't have a dipstick for the manual transmission , the transmission fluid level is checked at the FILL PLUG on the side of the transmission
Dexron or Mercon III or one that is compatible with those two types. Power steering takes Type F Transmission fluid.
Put a pan under the transmission. Remove the plug with a suitable box or socket wrench and let it flow.
start up your bronco,let it idle, pull the tranni dip stick and see if there is nay oil in the tranni

look on passenger side of engine towards the back and look way down
