According to all my research for a school project, astronauts use rockets, space shuttles and spaceships. I'll give a few examples of them: The Challenger, (which busted 7 seconds after take off), Apollo13, and Endeavour.
Now, for some extra info. Unlike early explorers, astronauts used more sophisticated tools of navigation. Explorers used hour glasses and astrolabes (measures latitude, while we lucky people get to use computers, computers, and even more computers! Astronauts also used stars as navigational tools. For example, if astronauts saw the North Star, they would know they're going north, and hopefully, in the correct direction.
Well, I hope you learnt a lot from my small lecture. Remember, I'm only in grade 6!
Astronauts use a variety of tools while in space. For instance, astronauts use specially designed tools, like hammers and wrenches, that are made to be used with unwieldy space suits.
it is advantageous for astronauts to live on a space station rather a space shuttle because a space station allow astronauts to stay and work extended time . A space shuttle is a space craft to transport astronauts , satellites, and other materials to and from space.

The astronauts of Apollo 13 , had to use the lunar module to return to the earth after the spacecraft had exploded.

Whatsimple and compound machines do astronauts use?
There is no oxygen in space. Astronauts have to take oxygen with them.
The answer is none, the only astronauts who have been to the moon got there in various Lunar Modules, all of which were launched on Apollo rockets.
they oftenly like to use bicycles and elephants
As there is no air , it is difficult , but astronauts use radios.
