Note again: Before firing into a built-up area, Israel notifies the residents there of the imminent danger, by TELEPHONE calls, leaflet drops, and drops of non-explosive articles onto roof-tops. Equipment is being targeted. People are not; except those responsible for launching rockets into Israel, and in some inadvertent cases, the people they use as their shields. The conflict is NOT about a land or its people, at least from Israel's perspective. More than 2/3 of the air strikes on Gaza produced not one single casualty on the ground.
