Drain the old and add the new...use SAE 10-40
Jump on, start engine,
I just called a Honda ATV dealer and asked him what oil to use in a 1982 ATC 110 he says 10w40. He says 10w40 was standard back in the 70,80's.
No, a 1982 Honda 185 does not have gear oil. The engine and transmission both use the same oil and draw from the same reservoir. The rear axle bearings are lubricated only with grease as are all other bearings.
Honda motor oil 10 w40 sj only
four stroke motorcycle oil .
10 w 40 motorcycle oil
you can use standard ATV oil from places like tractor supply. or you could use a 30 weight oil
10 w 40 is what honda recomends
what type of oil should i use in a 1991 Honda cr 80
i own a 200m it is NOT MIX!! the oil dipstick is on the right side of the motor and its grey. use 30w
If you mean a different weight then you're not very wise. Use the exact weight oil that Honda recommends. If you are referring to the brand of oil, you do not have to use Honda oil. In fact Honda does not even make oil their oil is refined by another company. You can use any major brand oil of your choice, as long as it is the correct weight.
