In Buddhism one does indeed talk of aeons, but the answer to the question would be "time wheel" or "time-cycle", which is the specific type of "aeon element" found there. Buddhists believe that time is not linear, but moves in circles like a wheel. This idea has also been popularized to some extent in Europe, as part of the Renaissance. The idea directly contradicts the Holy Bible, which supports the thought of time as linear with paradise as the final destination for humanity.
