It is tradition that says the Native Americans brought turkey to the the Pilgrims providing them food for their first Thanksgiving. Turkeys are native to the Americas. There is evidence that it was domesticated by the Native Americans.
The spices pilgrims used were cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and even pepper. They also used dried fruits for sauces.

According to the history book i have it says they didn't use any they just used their fingers and hands
The colonists brought many eating and cooking utensils with them from Europe, including knives, spoons, and forks. The colonists were quite resourceful and would make many items they needed from wood.
Here comes another pilgrim. That pilgrim will find the others soon enough.
It was potatos :D its kinda silly because that is one of my favortite things to eat on thanksgiving and it is allways associated with that holiday.
Rather than turkey, it was very likely grouse, duck, goose and swan.
because it was something the pilgrims and indains shared so now we use it as a tradition along with other things.
