Just about every type of veggie is food for chickens. Avoid raw potato peels and tomato/rhubarb leaves but Carrot peels, leafy greens, tomato, salad, corn, peas etc. will be happily accepted as a treat for your birds. Don't forget fruit, fruit of any sort is well tolerated also. Small bits of leftover meat are also allowable as is pasta.
