The VW. It was called the People's Wagon.
-------------------

The 'People's car' looked nothing like the original concept. Hitler influence was to sack the original designer and install Ferdinand Porsche.

Hitler had nothing to do with the blueprints for the Beetle (the VW). It also had nothing to do with the army, or to do with saving gas.

Hitler did interfere with the design of many military vehicles, but none with the aim of saving gas.

Adolf Hitler did not personally create the blueprint for a vehicle on a napkin in a restaurant to save gas for his army. However, he did play a significant role in the development of the Volkswagen Beetle, which was designed by Ferdinand Porsche in response to Hitler's request for a "people's car." The Beetle aimed to be affordable, fuel-efficient, and accessible to the masses.
