Best Answer

Any vehicle running on fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) emits carbon dioxide (CO2), the greenhouse gas. The bigger the engine, the more fuel it burns, and the more carbon dioxide it emits. So a jet plane, or a huge ship would be the single vehicle producing the most.

The type of transport emitting the most would be cars. There are more private automobiles in the world than any other kind of vehicle.

What would happen if the amount of greenhouse gases were reduced?

If the amount of greenhouse gases were reduced, then the temperature of the earth would cool.

Why would you die with out greenhouse gases?

Without greenhouse gases keeping the planet warm we would all be frozen, yes, and die.

What would be the temperature on the earth with greenhouse gases?

The earth's overall temperature with greenhouse gases is 76442 degrees F.

Why would increased levels of greenhouse gases contribute to higher temperatures?

Greenhouse gases trap the heat rising fom the earth. Increased levels of greenhouse gases mean that global warming will get worse.

What causes the greenhouse effect and how does it affect earths atmosphere?

The greenhouse effect is caused by greenhouse gases that absorb infrared rays and thereby keep the earth warmer than it otherwise would be. The greenhouse effect is important to life on earth. Without greenhouse gases, there would be global cooling and life as we know it would no longer be possible. With increased levels of greenhouse gases, there is global warming and undesirable climate change.

What is the process by which gases in the atmosphere absorb and reradiate heat?

Greenhouse Effect

Do grass clippings make greenhouse gases?

Decomposing grass clippings release carbon dioxide under aerobic conditions and if burned. They release methane if decomposed under anaerobic conditions. These gases are greenhouse gases. The carbon dioxide emissions pretty much balance with the amount removed to create the grass. The methane is 21 times as potent a GHG as carbon dioxide so the greenhouse impact would be more significant.

A decrease in the amount of greenhouse gases in Earth's atmosphere would result in?

A decrease in the amount of greenhouse gases in Earth's atmosphere would result in Cooler global temperatures. This would help decrease the impact of global warming.

What are greenhouse gases used for?

Normally greenhouse gases are bad, but without it, Earth would have no way of holding in heat and our planet would be below 0 degrees. We're just putting out too much.

Why do you need greenhouses?

Greenhouse gases are needed to keep the planet warm. If it was not for greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the earth would be like the moon, warm during the day and frozen at night.

Do greenhouse gases produce waste?

No, the allow life to live on this planet by keeping us warmer. Without greenhouse gases, we would be around -18 degrees and a dead planet.

Would greenhouse gases increase in the greenhouse effect?

Greenhouse gases will increase as long as we keep burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) in industry, transport and the generation of electricity, which releases carbon dioxide, the greenhouse gas causing global warming.
