The New Standard Revised Version
Might I suggest that you get hold of a copy of the King James Version of the bible as used by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
The word "church" is in the King James Version of the Bible 80 times. It is in 79 verses.
Many Methodists use the King James Version. The United Methodist Church does not prescribe any particular version of the Bible and, as far as I know, neither does any other Methodist denomination.
This is the official teaching of the Church of Christ. However, as there are in many church groups these days those who are theological liberals, one may find individuals, including church leaders, who do not believe what both the Church of Christ and the Bible teach concerning Christ.
The Roman Catholic bible has 2 more books in it than the Protestant version. Even so, the early Roman Catholic church rejected some 50 gospels because they did not agree with their vision of how Christianity and the life of Jesus the Christ should be portrayed.

Bible Way Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ was created in 1957.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church") uses the King James Version of the Bible (for English speakers), with no changes to the text. The church does publish it's own version which includes cross-references with the Book of Mormon, but members are welcome to use any King James Version Bible. Mormons speaking other languages use whatever Bible version is available in their language. The King James Version of the Bible is the most common Bible for English speaking Christians. Other popular Bible versions are the New King James, New International Version, and Revised Standard Version. Mormons are welcome to use other versions of the Bible for their personal study, but the official Bible of the Mormon Church is the King James. You are welcome to read the Mormon version of the King James Bible online or order your own paper copy at the "Related Links" below.
According to the New Testament, there is no earthly head of the church, and therefore each congregation of the Churches of Christ are autonomous. Therefore, there is no policy-making board, congress or convention to declare an "official" version of the Bible for use in Churches of Christ. However, most members of the Church of Christ would place confidence in the King James Version, New King James Version, the American Standard Version and the New American Standard Version. Gaining more acceptance in recent years has been the English Standard Version. Most members that I know find some potential problems using versions like the NIV, The Living Bible and versions that simply paraphrase the thought rather than directly translate the Greek and Hebrew words in which the Bible was written.
The official Bible of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) is the King James Version of the Bible. They also consider The Book of Mormon as scripture equal with the Bible.
Yes. Though it is not widely known or even used. The Mormons prefer to use a King James Bible. That said, the special version that existed at one time was a unique translation done by Joseph Smith Himself. Most of the changes between it and a regular King James can found in the book of Genesis.
United Methodists don't have an official version or translation of the Bible. Rather they affirm the usefulness of a number of translations and versions. The New Revised Standard Version is often used for teaching purposes.
Yes. The King James Version of the Bible is the official Bible of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) in English-speaking nations. Members are welcome to use a KJV Bible published by any source, but many choose to use an edition published by the Church. The text is the same as all other KJV Bibles, but it includes cross references to the Book of Mormon, which Mormons use as an additional book of scripture. The Anglican Church.
The bible does not say that. In fact the bible (Hebrews 10:24-25) urges us to attend church. Of course the church we should attend should be a Christ believing, Christ teaching church of which the bible approves. Beware there are bad churches.
Christ loves the Church
