There are actually FOUR people who write the Warriors as a team. Their names are: Vicky Holmes (most popular), Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, and Tui Sutherland. Each has a different favortie.
VICKY: Thinks that Ravenpaw is similar to her own personality, but she likes Yellowfang because of the complex character details
KATE: "Yellowfang is always my favourite (though Graystripe's a close second)"
CHERITH: Likes Leafpool because of the similar personalities, but has a soft spot for Dustpelt.
and I haven't found Tui's answer because Tui was only recently recruited to the Erin HUnter team.
I think the simpler names would be better, because in the series, Survivors, also written by Erin Hunter, they have simple names. Wolves are related to dogs, so it would make sense for them to have simpler names.
if you would like your question to be answered, you will need to ask a question about about Erin Hunter and J K Rowling, not just "are" and their names

They takes everyday ordinary cats names and puts an ending word on it. For example: My cats name was Shadow but I decided to give him a warrior name. So I put "tail" at the end of his name. Now his name is Shadowtail. If you would like Erin Hunter is accepting pictures of your cats. Makes sure you send its name with the picture. If you are lucky they will pick your cat and give it a warrior name. If they do that then they will post in on their website:www.warriorcats.com. Hope that helps!

Well some of her ideas come from her cats like Bramble and Sorrel.
Most likely. When Jayfeather and Lionblaze were exploring the tunnels after Icecloud fell in, they found a tuft of fur beside a collapsed area of the tunnel. It was black fur, and it was by the area were Hollyleaf "died". So, it's looking like Hollyleaf is the forgotten warrior. Hope it helped! :) Yes, it was confirmed by Erin Hunter. We will leard more about what happened to her in The Forgotten Warrior! Can't wait!
The Warrior series is based on a fictional world created by Erin Hunter, and its focus is on clans of feral cats with their own beliefs and traditions. It is not based on any specific real-world religion.
