One needs to bear in mind that Hitler is subject to much of the usual kind of celebrity gossip, so you will find all sorts of stories online saying he was homosexual, of Jewish origin and abused as a child. There is no evidence for this the first two claims and the evidence for abuse is shaky (mainly stories from a few other members of the household 40-50 years later).

The most widely held view is that Hitler was heterosexual.

Though it is not known for sure whether Hitler was gay, bisexual, or straight, all of his documented relationships were with women, supporting the fact that Hitler was not homosexual.

Little historical evidence exists that would suggest Hitler was gay. He was certainly involved with the much-younger Eva Braun, who he finally married in his bunker shortly before their suicides in April of 1945.

There are, however, at least three authors who have published books suggesting the idea that Hitler was a closet homosexual, and that Nazism was based on homoerotic leanings. However, the notion that Nazism was some kind of mass outbreak of sexual perversion (sado-masochism plus homsexuality?) is the product of some Allied Propaganda.

There is no doubt that Nazism was very keen on military values, and that these are male and 'macho'. However, they are not homosexual.

Self-loathing and closet homosexuals are often among the most vigorously homophobic. Also, he had a bodyguard who was apparently homosexual, even though he sent homosexuals to die.

The fact that Hitler was homophobic is not, however, evidence for or against. Even if there was strong evidence that Hitler was bisexual it's not clear what that would explain.

Ernst Julius Günther Röhm was gay, and very perverse as well. Hitler had him disposed of for these and other reasons.

It was an open secret. He didn't really try to hide it and people knew about it, but it just wasn't really mentioned until the so-called Röhm-Putsch. In 1934, Röhm and other SA-leaders (and many people more) were arrested and among the reasons given for that, apart from planning a putsch, was homosexuality in the case of Röhm and a few others. After that, homosexuals were persecuted much more than before and the laws concerning homosexuality were changed to make that easier
