In everything I have read about him it seems he was a stubborn man and rather obsessive about many things. It is obvious he loved his wife and children, but when she wrote him about what to do if the British came through their area while he was away fighting for independence he wrote back that she and the children should go hide in the woods. I think that is a bit weak. He firmly believed in the Federalist position and when he signed the Alien and Sedition Acts he was trying to keep opponents quiet and to "get rid" of people ( mainly French immigrants) he saw as a problem. It was his wife that gave him balance and would convince him that he needed to step back a bit from a position he had taken and wouldn't move from. I would count his stubborn nature his main weakness.
The fact that he followed George Washington hurt him. Unlike Washington, he was short and fat and did not look like a President. However, he demanded to be treated like royalty and this annoyed people around him.
John Adams is a business oriented man and he has a strong federalist who is very intelligent and a thinker too. He was not impressive physically, being rather short and stout. As a result, I suspect, he demanded royal treatment when he was President, unlike Washington and Jefferson.
Strengths - Adams was a strong lawyer who got the British Redcoats out of a dilemma after the Boston Massacre. He was a strong debater.
Weaknesses - The Alien and Sedition Acts ruined his presidential reputation by disregarding citizens' rights. Also, people saw him as a person favoring a monarchy through his Discourses On Davila;
Some of John Adams strengths include his determination, diligence, and intelligence. He exalted ideas and was exemplary at negotiating. He was also a good lawyer.
John adams was a good president and did many good things. But P3DR0 did more, he helpedthe community lol
