world war 2 started when England didn't like the ways of the Germans so they bombed their harbor and started world war 2. world war 2 started when England didn't like the ways of the Germans so they bombed their harbor and started world war 2.
New Zealand entered World War II in September of 1939. It declared war on Nazi Germany because it opposed fascism in Europe and had strong ties to England, which was fighting in the war.

The Navy was able to stop a lot of U Boats off the coast the New England. If you mean the Iraqi and Afghanistan war then I have no idea other than families losing their sons and daughters when the insurgents kill them. If you mean the Civil War then it was affected by freed slaves attempting to find a place to live and work there, plus their loved ones were dying in the war.
