Geisha have many jobs, the word Geisha actually means 'a person of the arts.' Geisha generally begin learning language, art, different Musical Instruments, singing, dancing and so on. After a few years they decide on one or two subjects that they are best at and focus on studying them until they become full Geisha. Most of the time Geisha are hired to attend parties with influential men, or to perform in dances, tea ceremonies, be in parades and assist in the Kabuki Theater. Most nites they are out to parties talking and serving Sake to gain influence and prestige.
