After Pentecost, the Apostles concentrated on teaching, preaching, and praying. They had as little to do as possible with financial affairs. When finances became a problem, the congregation took care of it.
The first laymen chosen by the congregation to take care of feeding the widows and orphans also performed evangelism. Stephen was killed. Philip went into Samaria and also Preached to the Ethiopian. This was followed by the top men in the church going to Samaria. The church did not send its greenhorns to Samaria to follow up on the initial evangelism. It sent Peter, its top man.
The church also fed its poor. Many people constantly went into and out of poverty. Those who had money would help those when they could. It was a mutual aid society.
Paul told Titus to appoint Elders. Clement said Elders appointed their successors. Elders could be fired. The church had structure. It had Bishops, who preached in one or more churches. It had elders, who provided a place for a group to meet and who taught Christianity. There were Deacons who collected and distributed money. There were lectors who read scriptures. There were widows who took care of needs. There were other groups. Groups were fluid.
The church was organized. The organization was flexible. There was no such thing as "The organization of The New Testament Church." Anyone could Baptize. There were not the rules that exist today.

This question is revealing because it shows - through the mind of the friend who is asking the question - that in most people's minds there is a real and complete disconnect with the Twelve Apostles of Christ.
Or . . .
That the Twelve Apostles of Christ were not the 'early church'.
Maybe inside of us, we all know that Jesus and the Twelve Apostles practiced Judaism. Contradicts Christianity, in juss a couple small things, you see. Like the Oneness of the DE-I-TY. And the concept of the TRI-NI-TY.
The "Church" we are asking about is another religion that developed after Jesus and his Twelve, Chosen Apostles . . . they never themselves practiced that religion that other people made.

Saint Ambrose, also known as Ambrose of Milan, was a renowned bishop in the early Christian church. He was known for his theological writings, defense of the faith, and influence in the Church. AnswerReincarnation seems to have been implicit in the teachings of the early Gnostic Christians.Origin, an early Church Father, also taught of reincarnation. The doctrine of reincarnation has never been explicitly repudiated by the Church, although many Christian theologians have dismissed or derided it. However, in practice, modern Christians believe a soul is born once.

The fact that you are already a Christian allows you to go to any Christian church. However not all so called Christian churches practice what they preach. If you are not a member of a particular Christian church you may not be allowed admittance. Thankfully there are few of these about. When my wife and I asked to be married in her local Christian Church of England we were refused as my wife did not attend that church even though she was a Christian.
