First of all, it should be noted that Dan Quayle (the former US Vice President) is not dead. Thus, the question should be, "What IS Dan Quayle's IQ?" That said, the short answer is "we don't know," since such information is rarely made public. Mr. Quayle was a very polarizing and gaffe-prone politician, so his opponents liked to portray him as stupid. But there is no evidence he was actually stupid, nor any evidence that he had a low IQ.
That said, it is a fact that Dan Quayle is not regarded as a scholar. He has not published works of prose, advanced new theories in any professional field, nor had any significant articles published in peer reviewed professional literature. Much of what he has written was about his own political career, and his writings are not noteworthy in any way. (In fairness, that could also be said about most politicians.)
Some sources have reported that former Vice President Quayle, was a C average high school student, but he was able to get into a good university because of his billionaire father's connections. He has a Bachelor's degree in political science and a J.D. in law. The greatest rank he achieved in the military was E-5, as he could not pass the test to become a commissioned officer.
As Vice President he often made significant errors of fact demonstrating humble critical thinking skills and ignorance of basic geography, history, and science. Quayle misspelled the word "potato" on national television. The former Vice President implied that Phoenix, Arizona was located in California and referred to Chicago as a state. Quayle once stated that the United States of America was technically part of Europe due to the fact that it was a member of the United Nations. Quayle also once stated that the planet Mars had water and breathable oxygen.
The consensus among the academic community is that Quayle is a man with strictly normal intelligence and that without the influence of his family and private tutors he would not have been able to achieve his advanced degrees. Based on everything that is known of the former Vice President's education, accomplishments, and the context of advantage he came from, it is safe to say that his IQ would be in the high average range.
He is planning a run for Congress in Arizona.
a flying banana came in and started a giant massacure then dan kang lost eye sight and ate 18 tofu dogs
There is no public record of the IQ of the former United States Vice President, James Danforth Quayle. Nor has this public figure released his SAT scores (or the equivalent) to the public. It has been suggested that his IQ is as high as 142 and as low as 115. Without test results, both figures should be considered as no more than a guess.
