This is an opinion: The ancient Anasazi of the four corners migrated to Mexico many centuries ago because of the persistent and terrible drought in the area of the four corners, USA around 1276. They were an aggressive people of the southwest, USA but as servants and workers in the higher cultures of Mexico, they learned quickly what these highly developed cultures had to offer. They eventually mixed into what became the Aztec peoples of Mexico and created a dominating culture that reached into Central America as far as Honduras and lasted for about a full century. Their naming of cities in Central America lasts to this day. June 29, 2012.
