This is an easy question even for me...a 5th grader!!!! Ok, we are studying this in class so this would be an honor to be able to answer on such a wonderful website like http://www.wikianswers.com. Ok. Heres the answer...The Boston Port Bill was exasperated by the oppostion to sale tea to America, in particular by it's destruction at Boston, the ministry.Determined on more stringent measures,and selected this town as the culprit and to be disciplined. A bill was hastily passed, to spending representitives government of Massachusettes, by declaring that the provincial council should be appointed by the crown, that the royal govener should appoint and remove all important executive officers, and that no town meeting should be held without written permission from the governor.
