Kronos is often misconstrued as the Lord of Time. Chronos is the real deity representing time, but as the mythology was passed down Kronos and Chronos became confused. Kronos is a Titan and Chronos is a deity like the Fates.

Some of the Greek gods were references to time such as Chronos, Apollo, and Hercules, for example, but only because these personages were worshipped over vast periods. Per se, there were no actual Greek gods of time.
