The latter craft dropped a different type of atomic bomb, a Plutonium bomb with implosion type (Blows inward) fuses strapped around the perimeter. owing to its girth, this type of bomb was called (Fat Man). The more slender projectile dropped on Hiroshima was the (Little Boy) type. the proposed usage of the code name (Thin Man, thought to be poking fun at FDR, then recently deceased) was not used.
