The Bucharest treaty was a treaty between Serbia , Montenegro , Bulgaria , Greece & Romania .
When Albania got its independence from the Ottoman empire , Macedonia had revolted against

The Ottomans .The map bellow shows in pink the Ottoman empire after ww1and in purple

its empire before 1910 :

The ottomans were attacked by the Montenegrins Serbs , Greeks , Bulgarians and Albanians in the first

Balkan war . Montenegro and Albania were just doing it to liberate their homeland [ although Albania

did take the Macedonian region Mala Prespa ] , whereas Serbia Greece and Bulgaria were taking

Macedonian territory under Ottoman occupation . The region East Thrace however was Bulgaria's

homeland . After the first Balkan war the map was left like this :

The Greeks massacred all Macedonian civilians they found in an open , largely criticised ethnic

cleansing campaign . Serbia and Bulgaria attempted to look like the Macedonians saviour and

win Macedonian public support . It was soon clear that Greece's violent , imperialist greed had

not been satisfied yet , and Serbia and Bulgaria would be on opposing sides in the coming war.

So Greece and Serbia made an alliance to attack Bulgaria , starting the second Balkan war .

When Romania joined and took Dobruja of Bulgaria , it was clear the Bulgarians were fighting

a war they couldn't win . so they agreed to the Bucharest treaty , leaving the map like this :

it probably won't put the maps up with it so you can search them up on images yourself

What happens to the territory of Ottoman Macedonia after the Treaty of Bucharest expires?

Well, there was no ottoman macedonia. What is refered to as the regional Macedonia most often is the enlarged roman province of Macedonia, during Ottoman times this region were in fact 3 different regions. As for expiration, it won't expire as there is no time limit to treaties as they are replaced by new ones or ripped up through war. And further the treaty of Bucharest is irrelevant due to the first world war and the treaty of Versaille replacing it.

It wasn't time-limited, except by World War 1. It was superseded by the Treaties of Neuilly (1919) and Sevres (1920), of which the latter fared even worse, being in turn completely replaced by the Treaty of Lausanne (1923).
