What was the colony problems in Delaware?

There were many hardships for colonial people, but the ones that struck out the most were wars, money and food.Men volonteered to go to war. These men lived and served many months-even years- serving the country. Soldiers took over people houses and some protected people from that excact thing happening. Soilders were very important.Money. Most people couldn't go out and buy just one meal for their family. Money was a struggle. They couldn't pay there taxes, land coverage and so on. People needed money more than they needed any thing else because there was no money. But only one thing stood in their way...Food was scarce because people couldn't pay for their own food. People couldn't feed their familys and many starved to death. My teacher told me that at least 1 person from every other family died. Food was one major cause for this thing.So those were only a few hardships like I said, but one way or another, colonial people fought to survive even if they died. Thank Heavens for technology, right?

Delaware was the most sought after territory than any of the original thirteen colonies. The Dutch who first claimed it, had a foolish quarrel over a trivial cause leading to the destruction of the entire colony. About 28 initial colonists were massacred. There was constant friction between the Dutch and Sweden from 1643 to 1653. In 1664, Sir Robert Carr, ill treated the settlers brutally for many years.
