I don't know :) The Berlin Wall divided the Russian Zone of Berlin from the US British & French zones of occupation. The Iron Curtain divided the countries of the Warsaw Pact from the west. Effectively the Berlin Wall was a city wide section of the Iron Curtain.
First of all it was a direct violation of the Allied 4 Powers Act that was signed among the 4 principle allies at the end of World War II: United States; France; UK; and the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union did not notify anyone other than the East Germans that they were about to build this wall. It was a provacative
act that could have led to war! The Berlin Wall disrupted thousands of Berliners and their families. It was extremely cruel and immoral. After all that these wonderful people had gone through during and after the war, they now had their lives once again, devastated! Eventually, people on both sides of the wall, got on with their lives, but they never forgot!
The Iron Curtain.
The Berlin Wall and the Iron curtain, its right. :)
The Iron Curtain.
Berlin is the right answer
Winston Churchill coined the phrase iron curtain. The iron curtain referred to the Berlin Wall which separated Eastern and Western Europe. The Berlin Wall goes right through the center of Berlin, Germany.
The Berlin Wall "represented" the iron curtain. Strictly symbolic.

They were both a separation of West and East; the Berlin Wall was seen as the 'physical' Iron Curtain that Winston Churchill had spoken of in his speech.
