Well apart from the obvious answer, that Romans were from Italy and Celts were from northern Europe, like the British Isles and Ireland, the way they organised is totally different too. Celts were tribal but Romans followed a system of government not unlike some governments today.
the bump on the shield was copied from the Celts. nothing else was because the Celts went to war naked.
Because the romans thought the celts were uncivilised and thought they lived like savages. They dont like them also because they hanged their enemies heads on their wall.

The Romans and the Celts fought in Hadrians Wall.
The Celts were seen by the Romans as barbaric and in battle they didn't follow the Roman rules of battle. The Romans generally were worried about the barbarian tribes crossing into Italy. They had tried fighting them on their own turf and knew that they more more than willing to die rather than be slaves or to pay the Romans for allowing them to live.
The Celts survived through a combination of agriculture, animal husbandry, hunting, and warfare. They lived in small, tightly-knit communities and had a strong culture based on storytelling, music, and craftsmanship. The Celts also adapted their ways to the environment, such as using hill forts for protection and developing ironworking skills for tools and weapons.
