I think what makes it so cool and unique is that its history has been recorded for more than 3,400 years. Another reason it is so great is bcuz it is so big. It was ranked 25th richest city in the world in 2008.

the difference between Athens and Sparta is that they had different forms of government. Athens had a democracy Sparta had an oligarchy. women had more right in Sparta then they would usually have in Athens

The Athenians had more money so they had better things, and more of. Sparta was worried most about war and didnt care about money and trades.
