Plagued, like everyone else.
Horribly painful.
The black death is also known as 'The Black Plague' but the scientific name for it is the bubonic plague.
The bubonic plague
It began in the spring of 1348, and it wiped out about 50% of the population. Jews rarely got it since they cleaned themselves. Some of the ''cures" were to pop the boobos (boil like things) with a rusty knife, or to put frogs on the boobos and watch the frogs pop. this is where ring around the rosie came from to.
The Bubonic Plague killed nearly 80 to 90 percent of the population killing 1 out of every 3 people. the cause of the plague were fleas which were carried by rats which lived on boats. The people didn't know what was causing the plague at the time and thought it was a message from God. Hope this helps!
perfumes, good-smelling things. They believed that stuffing the masks (they looked like birds) with all that stuff killed the plague.
It's like any other disease. It never really went away.
