Anti-Semetism has existed for centuries, but in many countries they were accepted or at least tolerated. Nazi Germany used the Jews as scapegoats and blamed all of their postwar economic problems on them. The Nuremberg Laws of 1935 stripped Jews of German Citizenship and basic rights. It led to their isolation and extermination.
In January 1933, When the Nazis came to power, Germany was home to some 522,000 German Jews but in the pre World War 2 period (1933-1939) Hitler and the Nazis Put up anti semitic laws like Jews cannot have their own shops, Jews cannot marry pure arian Germans. The Holicaust was going to begin. So the Jews wanted to flee from Germany and Poland to Palestine during 1933 and 19935.
From 1941 to 1945 but they had been mistreated since 1933 -- 1933: Persecution of the Jews began. -- 1933-40: Persecution intensified, especially from 1938 on, and by 1939 most Jews in Germany were not able to earn a living. -- 1941: The Holocaust (mass deportations and extermination) began, and continued until 1945.

Hitler died in April 1945 near the end of WW2. He had been the leader (dictator) of Germany since 1933. He worked to exterminate all European Jews while he was ruled Germany.
