The WWE corporate site announced that the WWE would be PG on Monday July 28, 2008. I would guess that the same day is when WWE had its first PG Show, which was of course RAW.

The first PG episode of RAW was broadcasted on 28th July 2008 after WWE announced on their website that all WWE programmes will be PG. WWE became PG due to the number of children who attended the live shows and the fact that their parents were complaining about the content.
because the entertainment of WWE is in form of violence that's why it is PG.
The PG started in WWE on June 24, 2007. Now that PG has went WWE is not as good.
WWE is still holding onto its PG Rating.
The WWE began noticing that more & more kids began watching over the years & they decided to make it pg. Just be glad it's not G :p
no
Late 2008 to early 2009 was when it turned pg
WWE Monday Night Raw first aired in 1993 with The Undertaker being the only current superstar to still be with the WWE to have wrestled on the first Raw show, Smackdown first aired in 1999
No, I don't think so. WWE is fully committed to being a full PG product which is kid and family friendly. Because of their PG initiative, many multi-million dollar advertisements and endorsements were received by the WWE. Though hardcore wrestling fans like the edgier storylines and bloodshed like in the Attitude Era, WWE wants to keep their product PG. So, I don't think WWE will be PG-13 ever again.
Goldberg was one of WWE's top wrestlers and a fan favourite. He was not happy with the way his character was being projected in the WWE. Also, he was not very happy about WWE programming becoming "PG". He felt that the contents were not suitable for young children who watched the show. So, he left the WWE.
because its kind of hard to be a PG show and have every awful, and vulger curse word and middle finger proudly on display.
rumor has it that the PG era will end maybe somehere in 2015
