In their early days they did cover versions of '50s rock & roll songs, including 'Long Tall Sally' by Little Richard and also tracks originally done by Chuck Berry and Elvis. Other than that, he didn't sing much that wasn't written by him, Lennon or George Harrison for as long as the band were together, although following their break-up and after Paul had formed his own band Wings, he did sing a number of songs not written by him personally and also cover-versions, including of the Scottish folk-song 'Mull Of Kintyre' and a soft-rock version of the nursery rhyme 'Mary Had A Little Lamb'.
