The "unofficial" patch of the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment was a white circle with a blue border. Within the circle, in the background, a deployed parachute. In the foreground is a side profile of the devil, in red. In his right hand there is a red pitch fork. The devil's left hand is open, with his thumb touching the tip of his nose.
