What was the klu klux klans vision of society?

Research focus:

The Ku Klux Klan famously known as the KKK is a white seperatist group that discriminates other nationalites and religious groups. During my survey on the internet I found that not many people thought the KKK was still a threat but when I went to survey people that I knew they had different ideas.

Hypothesis:

My hypothesis is that the KKK is still a major threat in America. To stop the KKK and other groups like the KKK we need someone to lead us through the light so we can become a healthy nation.

Process/Procedure:

The first step I took was to gather more information about the Ku Klux Klan I didn't already know on the internet and in books. Next I created notecards with valueable information on them with the source they came form. Then I created a survey for my dad who is social studies teacher that teaches about the Ku Klux Klan. After that I created a survey to survey students and adults to see if being a kid or adult changed their answere depending on the specific questions that I asked. Finally after my survey I concluded that more people want other people to step up and stop racism.

Implications:

After studying about the KKK online I found that a lot of people are recuting other people to become a part of the KKK. The main headquarters of the KKK is in Harrison, Arkansas and that is were most of the recuting is going on. So for kids not to get involved in the KKK we need the police to go out there to Arkansas and shut their organization down and tell them everything they are doing is wrong. Also students need to be told upstraight that the KKK is bad organization and is considered a terrorist organization.

Action Planning:

Ellicott City needs to crack down on little klans or groups that could try to influence kids to join their klan. By doing this there would be less racism and less crimes that happen around the city. Last of all teachers and parents need to talk to their kids about the consequences of joing these groups. Like going to jail for a couple of years or the rest of their left.
