Chickamauga was the last significant victory by the vaunted Confederate States of America Army administered to the Yankee horde. However, any benefits of this great victory were eventually squandered by The South. Once the Union captured & fortified Chattanooga any unified effort from The C.S.A. in the War of Northern Aggression was essentially over.
