Banjo Patterson was a war reporter for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newspapers. He sent back news reports from the Second Boer War in 1899. He was the first correspondent to ride in at the surrender of Bloemfontein. He also reported from the Boxer Rebellion in China.
During World War I, he was an ambulance driver with the Australian Voluntary Hospital, Wimereux, France. He then joined the Australian Army in 1915. He was wounded and reported missing in July, 1916. He became a major and came back to Australia in April, 1919.
So he was in many dangerous and probably threatening situations.
Yes. Banjo Paterson was skilled around horses, and he was an able horseman, having been brought up around horses as a child. He loved horse racing and polo, and it was his extensive knowledge of these sports that gave extra depth to some of his poems and ballads.
AB 'Banjo' Paterson, famous Australian bush poet and author, was born not far from Orange, in New South Wales. He was a fully qualified solicitor by the age of 23. A scholarly and well-read person, Paterson began publishing his poetry in the Sydney edition of The Bulletin in 1885 under the pseudonym of "The Banjo", which was the name of one of his favourite horses. In 1890 he wrote "The Man From Snowy River", a poem which caught the heart of the nation, and in 1895 had a collection of his works published under that name. This book is the most sold collection of Australian Bush Poetry and is still being reprinted today. A "bush balladeer", he was also the author of other well known poems such "Clancy of the Overflow", "Mulga Bill's Bicycle" and, of course, "Waltzing Matilda".
I could be wrong, but I believe it's not a banjo but is called a banjolin. It's like a mandolin but with a banjo body. Hope this helps =)
Do you mean five letters? That could be "banjo."

William Paterson believed that slaves could vote for taxes paid by state but only 3/5 of the slaves should be counted for determining but not for determining representation in the national legislature. :)
Life-threatening means that a situation or condition poses a serious risk to a person's health or survival, potentially leading to death if not addressed promptly and effectively. It requires immediate medical attention or intervention to prevent a fatal outcome.
Maybe, but not as a playable character, either a trophy
John Hartford played the backup banjo during the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, but, as seen on You Tube, both Tommy (born 02/02/37) and Dick (born 11/20/39) Smothers could play the banjo. Do keep in mind the banjo playing was for serious music and not "part of the act". Generally you will see Tommy with the guitar and Dick with the bass in any of their comedy routines.
Usually a person's throat will close up and cannot breathe, or a rash can develop, in any event call the doctor, life threatening.
