Pakistan was the country that was formed to be the home for Muslim, Indians.
Hinduism and Islam. When India regained its independence from the British Empire in 1947, the schism between Muslims and Hindus impelled the division of the country into separate states, Pakistan and India. (East Pakistan, once part of Pakistan, later became the independent state of Bangladesh.)
The two nations, formed at the time of partition of India in 1947 by the British, were the present India and Pakistan. Bangladesh was a part of Pakistan till 1971 Burma, although not regarded as a part of India, was nonetheless part of the wider India under British Empire.

The region we today know as Pakistan has gone by many names throughout it's history, dating back to before Alexander the Great. It was the Sikh empire from roughly 1800 until 1849. From 1849 until several years after World War II, Pakistan was part of India, and controlled by the British. In 1947, with independence from India and Britain, until 1956 it was known as the Dominion of Pakistan. From 1956 to the present, it is officially known as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
There are several possible answers. Korea, which was divided into North Korea and South Korea following World War 2. Vietnam, which was divided into North Vietnam and South Vietnam following the first Indochina war. Following the Vietnam War, they returned to being one country. India, which was divided into India and Pakistan (East Pakistan and West Pakistan). Later, Pakistan became two separate countries, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
In 1971, Pakistan attacked Bangladesh (Former East Pakistan). Later India came to help the Bangladeshis to defeat the Pakistan and gain independence.

It was not. At the end of the war India was still one country. India was partitioned into TWO countries India and Pakistan when the people of the former British colony obtained their Independence from Britian. The Muslim people in the colony insisted on the separation as part of the independence agreement. However, the country of Pakistan could not hold itself together politically and ssome time later broke into two independent countries, one on each side of modern India.
pakistan joined seato so as to acquire protection against the anti-communist countries like russia and china but later on pakistan left seato because in case if india attacked on pakistan the members of seato wont provide with any aid as india is not a communist country

Pakistan was discovered in 1930 by Dr Allama Iqbal. Later on a separate homeland for Muslims of India was secured by Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
