Paul McCartney formed a new group after the Beatles, which was called Paul McCartney and Wings. They had a long and successful career (not as spectacular as that of the Beatles, but successful by any other standard). They are remembered for such songs as "Band On The Run". Wings no longer exists, but Paul McCartney still performs.
Along with Paul McCartney and George Harrison they formed the legendary band The Beatles - everyone knows that

It was just Paul McCartney showing off his songwriting skills. There are rumors saying that he was dead and was about the new Paul McCartney trying to get approval of the group.
