I think you are talking about The Lone Ranger. But Kemo Sabe was not a horse's name it's the name Tonto (the Ranger's Indian companion) gave the Lone Ranger. Some sources say it was an Apache phrase meaning "Faithful friend", other sources say it is a contrived word made up by the scriptwriters.
