Green Acres was a television situation comedy starring mainly Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor with various sub-actors ( local merchants, etc) the farmer Mr. Zifful and his pig, Arnold,. and so on. it is not even clear whether Green Acres was the name of the farm, or of the surrounding community, known also as Hooterville. Hooterville also figured in the sit com Petticoat Junction, allegedly set in the same town with an RR background.
