During the research I did on gorse I found that most sources said up to 40 years in the soil and they can still germinate. However, in England they had cobblestone roads and then 100 years later when London was bombed gorse seeds started growing where the cobble road had been. So I suppose this shows that a hundred possibly even hundreds of years!
With the collapse of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Russia, and the Ottoman Empire, the map of Europe had to be almost entirely redrawn after the War. In place of the old empires, new nations representing different identities were born.Among other means, WW1 changed the map of Europe through the disbanding of empires (e.g. Austro-Hungarian), loss of territory (e.g. Germany gave up territory to Poland and Czechoslovakia), the formation of new countries (e.g. Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Czechoslovakia) and the transfer in ownership of colonies (e.g. Germany's and Turkey's) to the League of Nations.Note: previous answer claiming a causal connection between bombing and earthquakes has no scientific basisDue to some areas being largely bombed, the vibrations in the earth's upper layer caused earthquakes. In turn these relatively unknown Quakes Changed landscapes whether it have been Land breaking off and joining Other Countries or continents or just forming hills or dichtes. Also, due to land being conquered by the German Wehrmacht (army) The map was changed, Then when the treaty of Versailles was Bestowed upon Germany The land they Had used for military purposes (The rhineland) was taken away and given to any neighbouring countries. This also changed the map.
There was no atomic bomb called Big Boy. Perhaps you are confusing it with a restaurant chain that bombed :-)The two atomic bombs used in combat were Little Boy & Fat Man, their approximate weights were 9,000 pounds & 10,000 pounds respectively.
As far as I know, he DIDN'T. Germany BOMBED Britain. Because Britain was Germany's enemy. Neither Hitler (personally) nor Germany invaded Britain. London was heavily bombed, Coventry was bombed, other cities were bombed, but the country was not invaded. The British Channel Islands, however, were invaded. The islands (Guernsey, Jersey) were occupied by Germany, being closer to France than to England.
The Allies bombed Germany during World War II. Although most planes were either British or from the US, pilots were from several nations e.g. French, Dutch, Norwegian.
First of all they thew them out of France after invading France then they bombed their city's and military installations torpedoed and bombed their ships In other words they waged war on them.
The Germans bombed British cities in WWI with blimps. They did the same thing in WWII with airplanes. The German thought if they bombed England, the British would surrender. The British did not surrender and bombed Germany (along with USA bomber planes) in retaliation.
Germany bombed Great Britain, and Britain, in retaliation, did the same.
