Main problem with the Vietnam War. Was ,it was never declared a war.President Kenendy sent advisorses, over to help with the winning or ways for the Vienamease to win.

As, with most errors. we started to send just a few troops to help.

There is your key word help. So with no declared war,we lost a lot. So much so .That when Johnson went into office he wanted out. But by then the country was in turmol

Opinions about the war? People, like today, were only concerned about events that effected them.

And only the military draft affected people during the Vietnam war.
