Check out "dodge charger registry" website or the "66-67 charger website" for history on the ORIGINAL Chargers. & remember; "real Chargers don't have 4 doors!"
No, the Charger was built for many years in the late 60's early 70's the Challenger was built from 1970 to 1974. The Dukes of Hazzard was a Charger. Both models were recently rereleased by Dodge, the Charger is pretty but the Challenger follows more of the design of the origianl Challenger as the new Charger looks nothing really like the original Charger.
There is a website called Supaprice who will give you the best prices for car parts including those for a 1969 Dodge Charger. You might also try your local scrap dealer.
