What about it? Do you want to know it or is it true? Well it's true and now I will tell you about the Freedom Train by Harriet Tubman, the story. The Freedom Train was also known as the Underground Railroad. Have you heard of that? Well it's by Harriet Tubman and she invented it. She wanted to get out of slavery and so when she made it out of slavery she made it and then she came back for her family and friends and others she knew or didn't know!! So everyone who went with her made it in to freedom!!
She jumped out the second story window, then caught a stagecoach to Memphis.
Only in that he was free Negro and Harriet was not. Story told that he took money for her freedom to save himself. She ran away north and he did not. Was supposedly her husband Harriet returned many times to take family ie mother, sister and brothers to freedom. Also brought many others time after time. Husband would not leave with ther. Harriet also was important to Union army. She acted as guide for army in taking southern forts and ports.

Minty is a fictionalized story about the life of Harriet Tubman, a former slave who became a significant figure in the Underground Railroad. Tubman grew up on a plantation in Maryland. She eventually escaped and assisted many other former slaves in doing the same.
