present day Alagaesia if you are talking about the books
the movies I have now idea
She is the elf ambassador and princess. She traveled with Sapphira's egg for a time before giving it to Eragon. Her and Eragon become close.
The setting of Eragon, along with the rest of the Inheritance Cycle, is Algaesia. It is a land that is inhabited my humans, elves, dwarves, and urgals. It is a fictional place.
In the first book he his held in Gil'ead
Ok, I'm almost positive that it takes place in the middle ages because of princesses and castles and there isn't any cars or technology but remember this is just a guess. ;)
Eragon first meets Brom in the town of Carvahall, where Eragon seeks his guidance after discovering a mysterious dragon egg. Brom becomes Eragon's mentor and teaches him about magic, dragon-riding, and the ways of the Dragon Riders.
While Eragon does draw certain elements from the Fantasy genre as a whole, the similarities between Eragon and The Wheel of Time are no more prominent than comparisons from any other Fantasy series.
Eragon
Brom is only alive for a period of time in the first book, Eragon. He passes away after a fatal wound from the Shade he and Eragon fought. Eragon and Saphira built a tomb for him atop a mountain.
Ed Speleers played Eragon in the movie.
In Eragon the dragon is called Saphira and her rider is Eragon
Eragon does not have a religion.
