the problem of greased cartridges in India in the time of the revolt of 1857 was..... because the greased catridges were made up of beaf of cows and pork of pigs. though the indians worshipped the cows as a god the members og the military cantonment refused to accept greased cartridges in thier country. so,on 9 of may,eighty five of htem were dismissed and sent to 10 years of imprisonment. thia also led to a general mutiny
