it wasnt really good because it was pretty much slavery. the only reason this was good for them is because after the abolition of slavery there was hardly any work for them and white southeners had large plantations that needed farming so thats when sharecropping came into play

To me slavery isn't good at all. But the only "good" that comes in slavery is the owner of the slave. They find it amusing to watch them work so hard and get nothing.
