Vietnam, albeit a communist nation, is a great trading partner; many fine products are coming from the country, that are quality built; clothing, toys, militaria for collectors, toys for the big boys such as Radio Controlled airplanes (R/C airplanes), tourists frequent the region (from the US), etc. Just to name a few.

Vietname is also helping the US locate any US soldiers from the Vietnam War who are MIA (Missing in Action).
